Service Description

Prenatal yoga will help increase the strength, flexibility, and stamina needed for labor. It helps pregnant women to develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques for an easier and more comfortable labor. The poses in class will help relieve common pregnancy muscle tension and aches, such as back & hip pain. The class offers gentler, less strenuous sequences of poses and greater use of props to support the body in postures. The teacher may provide several variations and use props to make poses comfortable and available to you during each stage of your pregnancy. This class will incorporate Spinning Babies concepts to help your baby be in the most optimal position for birth. Props needed for class: Pillows, weights, blankets, cans, water bottles, chairs, and belts can be used as props. Get creative :)
