Playing multiple roles during this time can sometimes be a struggle. All of a sudden you are working from home while homeschooling and maybe even taking turns with your partner spending time with the kids! Change is difficult and experiencing a whirlwind of emotions is normal. To cope with this temporary new way of life, create a new routine and structure for the kids. This helps the kids feel safe and in control. This is key to their healthy growth and development. Some resources to create a routine are:
Live Virtual Kid's Yoga & Story time every Thursday at 10:30am with Yoga Phamily
Have the kids cook with you. Assembling personal pizzas, decorating cupcakes, or cookies are usually a hit!
Attend live story time every Tuesday & Thursday at 2pm and Saturday at 10am hosted by San Francisco Public Library via Instagram Live
