Prenatal Yoga, Vinyasa + Yin Instructor/Athlete
Jenn's yoga journey began more than 15 years ago, when she took a weekly yoga class in college as an antidote to her intense workouts as a competitive runner. She loved how yoga allowed her to be in tune with her physical body in a different way than running, while also encouraging her to practice compassion and restraint rather than pushing the body and ego to go harder.
She has studied Sivananda, Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Prenatal yoga and likes to teach a deep mindful flow class. Her classes are structured for careful alignment, while encouraging students to use breath awareness as they guide the body through a moving meditation. In her prenatal classes, she strives to help pregnant mammas feel empowered, confident, and strong in both their bodies and their minds.
