Restorative, Pre & Post Natal Yoga Instructor/Engineer
Emily’s wish is for your yoga practice to bolster a lifetime of well-being. She believes that the physical yoga practice should be empowering, sustainable, and transferable to your daily life. She practices and teaches the dualities of doing and being, pairing intentional, strength-based movement with nourishing, supported stillness. As a nurturing auntie of six, she also teaches prenatal, postnatal, and kids' yoga.
Emily is a RYT200 from Yoga Tree SF and is pursuing her 500 hour training. Yoga has been a constant in Emily’s life since 2004. She came to yoga for healing from self-inflicted negativity, warped body image, and depression, and she has stayed for the continual healing, stress management, physical benefits, and personal growth. Over the years, she has explored a mix of styles including Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Ashtanga, and Iyengar.
